Christmas Hand print banner all from items we had on hand

 I cut up an old plain sheet and we used kids washable paint to make it easier to clean up.  The kids hands make up the weath and their feet are the bow.  When the kids were done I put an H in the center for our last name just using some basic craft paint.  I then hot glued a Christmas ribbon around the edges and a stick to the back, then some string and we were done.  So easy and completely free!

Our Thankful Tree

Everyone in the family traced their hand print onto construction paper and cut out 25 hands.  Then every night at dinner, we would write what we were thankful for on the hands and tape it to the tree.  The kids had a blast coming up with new things each night and it helped with their handwriting/spelling skills.
